Goals

Goals let you set time targets for any task and period, then track your progress against them.

Goal types

TypeDescription
At leastYou want to spend a minimum amount of time (e.g. exercise at least 5 h/week)
At mostYou want to cap time spent (e.g. TV at most 10 h/week)

Periods

Goals can be set for any of these periods:

  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Annual
  • All time

Creating a goal

  1. Go to Goals (/goals).
  2. Click New goal.
  3. Select the task using the task picker.
  4. Choose the period.
  5. Choose the type (At least / At most).
  6. Enter the target in hours and minutes.
  7. Click Save.

Progress indicators

Each goal card shows a progress bar colored by status:

ColorMeaning
GreenOn track / achieved
YellowAt risk
RedOver (for "at most" goals) or behind (for "at least" goals)

The card also shows the time logged so far in the current period and the target.

Editing a goal

Hover over a goal card and click the edit icon to reopen the form with current values.

Deleting a goal

Hover over a goal card and click the delete icon, then confirm.

Goal grouping

Goals are grouped by period on the page (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.) for easy scanning.
